Come celebrate the start of another great school year in D105 on Friday, August 28, starting at 6pm and enjoy the event with other D105 families. There will be a food tent (Burgers, Hot Dogs, Gyros and more), a movie-Super Mario Galaxy,- face painting, balloon art, 50/50 raffles, music and more. Our back to school event is held in the field behind Spring Avenue and Gurrie Middle Schools (1001 South Spring Avenue in LaGrange) and helps connect the D105 community and also the Foundations efforts to support students, families, and our community.

The monthly D105 Foundation meeting will take place in the Gurrie Middle School library at 6:30, August 18.

Save the date for our annual D105 Foundation Dash which will be held on April 26. This is a family friendly event that helps bring our D105 community together to enjoy a morning run/jog/walk with other D105 families. The Dash begins at Countryside Park . More information to come soon!

The D105 Foundation intends to host a family fitness fundraiser to raise funds for college scholarships.

Please join us for DOLLARS FOR SCHOLARS! Proceeds from this FAMILY fitness event will benefit the D105 Foundation, offering meaningful college scholarships to deserving students from our district. This is your chance to sweat, give back, and giggle (at least once) with our incredible community.

Feel free to join with your family, build a team of friends, coworkers or neighbors, or tackle this challenge as an individual.  No team is too big or too small.  

What can you expect at DOLLARS FOR SCHOLARS? This 60-minute fitness experience will be heavy on inspiration while delivering a full-body workout, set to bangin’ tunes, surrounded by this incredible D105 community. You will work together to compete against the other teams participating.  All fitness levels and ages are WELCOME!  You will work at your own pace and with your team.  No equipment is needed, but a yoga mat is recommended.  You can add light to medium dumbbells if you want to up the ante!  Wear comfortable clothes and athletic shoes.  Have some water at the ready...you may want a few sips throughout!  Bragging rights and fabulous prizes await!
